My God My God Why Have You Forsaken Me?

The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 27:46

“At about three, Yeshua uttered a loud cry, Eli! Eli! L’mah sh’vaktani? (My God! My God! Why have you forsake me?)””

Why did The Lord Jesus say “My God! My God! why have you forsake me” If he’s God himself?

The Lord Jesus was quoting Psalm 22:1

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?”
Psalm 22:1

The question should be, why The Lord Jesus was quoting Psalm 22? He did because he was fulfilling a thousand year old prophecies about him, here is more details about the prophecy:

The First, for being nailed on the cross by his hands and feet

“For dogs encompass me;

    a company of evildoers encircles me;
they have pierced my hands and feet
Psa 22:16

-CF

“Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” 28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”
Jn 20:27:28

The Second, for casting out lots on his garments

“they divide my garments among them,
and for my clothing they cast lots.”
Psa 22:18

– CF

“And when they had crucified him, they divided his garments among them by casting lots.”
Matt 27:35

The Third, about him being mocked and laughed at for trusting in The Lord

6 But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by mankind and despised by the people. All who see me mock me; they make mouths at me; they wag their heads; “He trusts in the Lord; let him deliver him; let him rescue him, for he delights in him!”
Psa 22:6-8

-CF

38 Then two robbers were placed on execution-stakes with him, one on the right and one on the left. 39 People passing by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads 40 and saying, “So you can destroy the Temple, can you, and rebuild it in three days? Save yourself, if you are the Son of God, and come down from the stake!” 41 Likewise, the head cohanim jeered at him, along with the Torah-teachers and elders, 42 He saved others, but he can’t save himself!” “So he’s King of Isra’el, is he? Let him come down now from the stake! Then we’ll believe him!” 43 He trusted God? So, let him rescue him if he wants him! After all, he did say, ‘I’m the Son of God’!” 44 Even the robbers nailed up with him insulted him in the same way.
Matt 27:38-44

The Fourth: The Lord answering his prayers

Matthew mentioned this prayer of Jesus at the three hour, why? Because the land has filled with darkness or in other words God judgement has come and after Jesus’s prayer,

From noon until three o’clock in the afternoon, all the Land was covered with darkness. 46 At about three, Yeshua uttered a loud cry, Eli! Eli! L’mah sh’vaktani? (My God! My God! Why have you deserted me?)
Matt 27:45-46

God response to his prayers and the darkness was removed and to fulfill:

23 You who fear the Lord, praise him!
All you offspring of Jacob, glorify him,
and stand in awe of him, all you offspring of Israel! 24 For he has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted,
and he has not hidden his face from him, but has heard, when he cried to Him.
Psa 22:23-24

The entire Psalm 22 is about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ crucfixion
